Puppy Dumped at Baseball Stadium Parking Lot Has a Bright Future Ahead of Her

A poor puppy who was found dumped at a baseball stadium parking lot in Georgia is now living an awesome life surrounded by a team of athletes and loving people.

Savannah Banana‘s team president Jared Orton found a seven-week-old puppy alone and crying at the baseball team’s home court parking lot last month.

“She showed up on our doorstep. We immediately brought her in and gave her food and water, then took her to the vet for a checkup,“ Jared Orton told The Dodo. “It’s not something we planned, but now we can’t imagine things without her.”

Orton and his wife then adopted the adorable pup and named her Daisy.

While Daisy has become a member of Orton’s family, she also became a member his baseball team. She comes to work with Orton everyday and has become their unofficial mascot. She also became one of the most popular attractions in the stadium.

Nowadays, Daisy does nothing but have a lot of puppy fun apart from being everybody’s source of happiness. But Orton has an awesome future plan for the adorable pup. He plans to train her to retrieve equipment and deliver balls as the team’s bat dog when she’s fully-grown.

“We aren’t sure how big she’ll get, so it’s hard to say if she’ll be able to pick up a bat or just coach first base,” Orton said, “but as she grows, she’ll be a fixture at the ballpark.”

Awww. We can’t wait to see her strut her stuff at the baseball field!
